Things that make you say 'aww'

Since our camera broke and there isn't too much going on right now, I have decided to dedicate this week's blog to kids. Not just any kids, but those who are somehow connected to me. So, if you like looking at adorable little ones, this is the blog to bookmark.

First, of course, my niece and nephew. Ellie and Micah continue to be the cutest kids ever...and, no, I'm not biased!

I receive regular phone calls with the following dialogue:

"Hi Aviva, it's Rach. OK, Ellie...what do you have to say to Aunt Aviva?"
"How are you?" Ellie asks.
"Now you're turn, Micah."
"I love you!" shouted/screeched into the phone by Micah.
"I love you, Aunt Avi," quietly whispered into the phone by Ellie.

Then, of course, comes Arturo's new nephew. Sebastian is about two months old and already on his way to being in the adorable competition. We get to meet him in a few weeks are are so, so excited!

Andrew: Just born yesterday, he is already charming his big sister Sarah. Welcome new little cousin!

Now, for some other adorable children....

Leo the Lion: Finally, despite the long wait, Leo finally got lederhosen!

Maya: Looking all grown-up with her very own cat handbag!

Big Sister Violet & Baby Brother Gibson: My friend Rebecca now has two children! Unbelievably, Gibson just celebrated his 1st birthday!

Owen (future dentist?): Lauren & Yuri recently celebrated Owen's 18th month. What a smile...

Sophie: I remember when Sophie was born and now Andrew and Lauren must getting ready for her to start school. How time flies!

Now, for the slightly different baby category...but no less important...

First, there is Kathleen. Obviously, from her rotund belly and radiant smile, a baby is on its way!

Next, my friend Kim has a new baby, but a different kind: a sweet puppy named Achilles (named after her unfortunate tearing of both Achilles tendons).

Hopefully, looking at this blog made you smile as much as I did while putting it together. Maybe it made you think of some adorable baby in your life. Maybe it reminded you why we women go through 10 months (not 9!) of pregnancy. Or maybe it just made you say "Awww...."
